- Needed to build a "moral economy."

- Social democracy 

- "Social movements would be necessary if the goal is to raise the welfare of all citizens."

Road to a billion dollars. Or so I thought.

     Many young people with the help of the advancement in technology allowing an increase of information through Google, YouTube, Reddit and a variety of other online forums have believed they could be the next Jeff Bezos. At one point I thought the same. Who wouldn't want to have so much money in their account they couldn't count it? It seemed like a great idea to start a business, work from home, and spend as much time I could doing the things I loved to do rather than going to a 9-5 job working for someone I didn't like and not getting paid enough to buy more than some ramen noodles. I then stumbled across a platform called Shopify. Shopify allowed you to do something called drop shipping which was a process that allowed you to set up an online shop, sell things you didn't own, and you didn't actually have to have any of the inventory in your possession. CMU Aesthetic

      On the average day at Canadian Mennonite University you would see more Birkenstocks and Blundstones than you thought you could imagine one meeting place could have. If you were to describe ask a CMU student to describe the average CMU student, they would most likely start with one of those two choices of footwear. Next they would move on to the clothing. Walking around campus and going up to any group of students, it would be a difficult task to find a group where at least one of them wasn't wearing something handmade or something they found at a thrift shop. These are absolute staples of the CMU aesthetic. We seem like a collective of hipsters with our trendy clothes and our long, flowing hair, always ready for a picnic, hike, or game of spike ball. We also love our toques, rain or shine, and representing camping, fishing, and outdoor gear brands.
